  • Editors are responsible for overseeing the entire publication process, from manuscript submission to final publication.

    They manage the peer review process, select qualified reviewers, and make decisions on whether to accept, revise, or reject manuscripts. Editors ensure that all submissions comply with the journal's guidelines and focus, working closely with authors to improve the clarity and coherence of their work.

    They also collaborate with editorial board members, stay updated on developments in the field, and contribute to the strategic direction of the journal.

  • An Assistant Editor's main role is to assist the publisher and commissioning editor with the development and delivery of a manuscript.

    Assistant Editors work closely with authors and editors, supporting the editor with administrative help and coordinating with other departments such as sales and production.

  • The Commissioning Editor is responsible for anonymising the papers submitted to the Review. Alongside the Editor-in-Chief, the Commissioning Editor also organises and oversees the review process by selecting suitable peer reviewers for each submission.

  • To ensure the quality and rigour of scholarly publications. Your responsibilities involve evaluating submitted manuscripts – in which you possess knowledge – to review and assess for originality, methodological soundness, relevance to the journal's focus and argumentative novelty. Reviewers will be asked to provide constructive feedback to authors anonymously, assess the clarity of the research presentation, and gauge the significance of the findings. Through your assessment, peer reviewers help journal editors make informed decisions about whether to accept, revise, or reject manuscripts.
